SOU MotionFX HDA allows users to add procedural motion effects to objects at the object level using CHOPs (Channel Operators). It supports transformational and rotational noise, filtering, and lag effects, which can be applied over a specified frame range. The tool includes a blending parameter to mix the effect with the original motion, and multiple instances of the HDA can be stacked to combine different noise patterns, filters, or lag effects for more complex motion.

Overview

This HDA is designed to add dynamic motion effects to objects in Houdini, such as camera shake, jitter, or procedural animation. It uses CHOPs to generate transformational and rotational noise, applies filtering to smooth or stylize the motion, and adds lag for delayed response. The effects can be blended with the original object motion, and the HDA can be stacked to layer multiple effects.
